To Measure:  Place your dogs foot on a piece of cardboard or paper (standing) and place a dot on each side of the PAW (the largest area) do not include the nails.  Remove foot and measure the width & length.

Dogs do not take naturally to shoes.  You will have to accustom your dog to wearing shoes if they have never worn them.  Start out gradually with one or two, put on for a few minutes, heap praise and treats to associate a pleasant experience for the dog.  Take off and repeat the process several times until your dog is comfortable with the shoes.
