Standard Dog Martingale Collar - Mulberry Plaid

This vibrant collar is composed of 100% recycled polyester tubular webbing and feature a separate ID tag attachment. The martingale collar works great as your dog’s normal, everyday collar. Or, it can be used specifically for training. It just depends on what your needs are!

The first loop looks like a traditional collar that is adjustable and hangs around the dog’s neck. The second is for control when the leash is attached. When the dog pulls, the collar tightens and will stay snug around your dog’s neck. When the tension is released, the collar loosens again. You have full control over your dog without putting pressure on the front of their neck.

Size Small is a 1" webbing (shown in marine blue, red plaid, silver grey, and sunset)

Sizes Medium and Large is 1.5" webbing (shown in canyon, riverbed, fuchsia, mulberry plaid, and leopard)

Recommended For: tough pullers, training aids, dogs with large necks and smaller heads, preventing slipping out or backing out of the collar, controlling your dog safely as it's a much gentler substitute for prong or choke collars, great for puppies, adult, and senior dogs. PLEASE CLICK ON HOW TO MEASURE, you must measure around the top of your pets head to be sure it will fit over the head.

Matching Leash: The vibrant leashes are composed of super soft 100% recycled polyester tubular webbing, feature a ring at the handle for accessories, and are adjustable from 3-5' in length.

Your dog should be standing.  We suggest a cloth measuring tape for more accurate measuring, or use a string or ribbon and lay it on a Ruler or Yardstick.

NECK: Measure around the base of your pets neck.  This collar has to go over your pets head, please measure around the largest part of the head also to ensure it will fit, for size Small, the head circumference around the top of the head and ears, can't be more than 14" . If your dog is in between sizes, we suggest you go up a size. The age of your dog is important also, if they are still growing, include that in your size decision. Don't forget the treat!
