Description
Minnie Maddie Leather Dog Collars w/ Swarovski Crystals
Our traditional Madison collars are now offered in an unlined version, making them more supple - especially for the smaller dogs. Full grain leather adorned with genuine Swarovski crystals. Unlined. Beveled and hand polished edges.
Measure at the base of your dog’s neck, just as tight or loose as you would like the new collar to fit. The collar should be snug, without being so tight that it will cause discomfort or loose enough to slide over your dog’s head. Puppies grown fast, so take that into consideration if ordering for a growing puppy.
As a rule of thumb, a well-fitting collar should leave just enough room for you to slide two fingers between the collar and your dog’s neck.

MEASURING: Even though you can expect some degree of adjust-ability with your new dog collar, it is important to measure your dog carefully.
If you are satisfied with the fit of your dog’s current collar, measure that collar from the center bar of the buckle to the farthest hole. THIS collar is sized from the center bar of the buckle to the farthest hole (See diagram below). Some brands measure from the center bar of the buckle to the CENTER hole.
- Please also take into account that each collar will have 2″ of adjustability. Given the example of a 14″ dog collar, a 14″ collar will adjust from 12″ to 14″.
- If you don’t have a tape measure, your can measure your dog’s neck with a string then measure the string with a flat ruler.
- A rule of thumb is to leave an allowance for two fingers to fit between the collar and the dog for a comfortable fit. The collar should not be so tight that it will cause discomfort or so loose that it slides over the dog’s head.
Leather is a natural product that will last a long time with proper care. Occasional cleaning with leather care products is a good idea and the use of leather conditioners is recommended. This handcrafted product is made from the finest top grain leathers and other quality materials. Great craftsmanship and will get better in time with basic leather care.
