Our Sun Shield Tee is lightweight stretch jersey with a UPF50 rating that blocks 98% of the sun’s UV rays. Super comfortable indoors and out and perfect for all sorts of applications beyond sun protection too: skin conditions, wound care, topical medications, and as an anti-anxiety calming aid that can be worn all day.

They really reduce heat absorption too: We tested our black Lab, Luke, out in the sun with a infrared thermometer gun and found his fur was more than 40 degrees cooler under the Tee than without – it’s wearable shade!

Your dog should be standing.  We suggest a cloth measuring tape for more accurate measuring, or use a string or ribbon and lay it on a Ruler or Yard Stick.

GIRTH: Start on the back measure around the chest behind the front legs and back to the beginning.  LENGTH: Neck to Rump, do not include the tail.  The chest is the most important measurement then the length, if your dog is in between sizes, we suggest you go up a size. The age of your dog is important also, if they are still growing, include that in your size decision. Don't forget the back rub!
