But wait, there's more! We've heard your woofs loud and clear, which is why we're thrilled to introduce our new line of martingale collars for those pups who prefer a slip-on training style. With the same attention to detail and uncompromising quality, these collars offer a snug and secure fit for your furry friend.  What is a martingale collar:  Martingale collars are also the preferred collar for leash training dogs. Owners with dogs that are unruly on leash also prefer a martingale as it gives them a bit more control, especially with dogs that like to pull and take their owners on the walk (rather than the reverse).  Martingale dog collars were originally created for use with sight hounds. Because this breeds head is smaller than their neck, they are able to back or slip out of a regular collar (when on leash) very easily

Measure at the narrowest point of your dog’s neck, just as tight or loose as you would like the new collar to fit. The collar should be snug, without being so tight that it will cause discomfort or loose enough to slide over your dog’s head.

As a rule of thumb, a well-fitting collar should leave just enough room for you to slide two fingers between the collar and your dog’s neck.   

4' and 6' narrow leads = 1/2", 4' and 6' leads = 1"
