African Beaded Dog Collar - Turquoise Earth

Hand beaded by the women of the Masaai tribe in Kenya. Sewn into leather, one bead at a time. A 2nd layer of leather is glued and stitched to the back for durability and strength. The hardware is solid hand-cast brass, individually poured, sanded and polished by hand. Each is unique in style and meticulously handmade. A lot of painstaking work and time goes into each collar to create a unique and gorgeous piece of art for your dog.

IMPORTANT: This collar is based on measuring from the Buckle, where the leather folds to the center hole. Ex: a 16 inch is 15 inches for the first hole and 17 inches to the last hole. PLEASE take the time to measure, a printable measuring tape is below.

This collar is gorgeous, happy and flaunts your pride. I purchased this to replace my dog's old beaded collar (different color design, same collar) that he wore for 6 years--24/7. This collar was worn by a very active dog who goes trail riding with me in the woods and through water. Believe it or not, the leather lining started peeling, but the beads are totally in tact. This collar has brass hardware unlike some cheaper beaded collars. The large fits my 90 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback perfectly; his neck measure 19.5 inches. ~~Amy & Gonga.
